The base of external trade statistics comprises only the final data on external trade of goods in the last two years. The final data for previous year are published in end-July of current year. Therefore, the data for the current 2009 will be available in July 2010.

The Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia has published the Statistical yearbook of external trade, starting from the data for 2004, as ACCESS application in CD form and titled EXTERNAL TRADE BASE of the Republic of Serbia. For the previous years, 2003 conclusive, the Federal Statistical Office published the subject yearbook, however for the level of the federal republic, i.e. for the level of Union of States Serbia and Montenegro.

EXTERNAL TRADE BASE in CD form presents actually the continued practice of publishing the Statistical yearbook of external trade. However the coverage and organization of data in this new, electronic form of detailed tables of external trade is much more extensive than in the Yearbook.

The base of external trade statistics, which is at your disposal and presently compiles the data for 2005,2006,2007,2008 and 2009 includes a part of the data of the Statistical yearbook of external trade of the Republic of Serbia, 2009 that will be available to users in CD form.
